Director AI Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Boby AI Yazılım A.Ş., registered in Istanbul, Türkiye, the operator of Director AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”), available at directorvideo.ai and through our applications. By creating an account or using Director AI, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process your information.

1. What Director AI does

Director AI lets you create images, storyboards, audio, and videos using your prompts, uploaded media, styles, and generation workflows. We use third-party AI models, including models accessed through Google Cloud Vertex AI, fal.ai, and EachLabs. Available models and features may change.

AI generation is probabilistic. Results can be inaccurate, unexpected, unsuitable, or similar to other users’ outputs. We do not guarantee a particular result, quality level, or successful generation on the first attempt. Review outputs before using or publishing them.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • Keep your account credentials and any connected sign-in accounts secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for providing accurate account information.
  • Use only the sign-in methods offered in the application. Guest access, where available, may have limited features and may be lost if it is not linked to an account.
  • Do not create accounts to evade restrictions, abuse free credits, or bypass billing.

3. Credits and generation

Credits are used to run generation jobs and other paid actions. Applicable credit costs are shown in the service before you submit a paid action. Re-running a node or requesting another output may consume additional credits.

  • Credits are a service entitlement, not money. They are not transferable or redeemable for cash, except where required by law or the applicable purchase terms.
  • Credit amounts, renewal schedules, and any expiration conditions depend on the offer shown when credits are granted or purchased. Promotional and subscription credits may expire.
  • Failed or cancelled jobs are reconciled against the work completed. Any applicable credit release or refund is recorded in your balance; a completed generation is not guaranteed a refund merely because you dislike its creative result.
  • Prices and offers may change for future purchases or renewal periods. The applicable price and purchase conditions are shown before checkout.

4. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Web purchases are processed through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record where identified at checkout. Mobile purchases may be processed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, with subscription entitlements managed through RevenueCat. The payment provider’s or app store’s terms apply to the transaction. We do not store your full payment card details.

Subscriptions renew according to the billing period and price shown at purchase unless cancelled. Manage or cancel a subscription through the billing provider or app store used to purchase it. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not, by itself, refund previous charges.

For a billing error or refund request, contact support@directorvideo.ai or the applicable payment provider. Cash refunds are handled through the original payment channel, subject to its terms and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory refund or withdrawal rights.

When you ask Apple or Google to refund an in-app purchase, the store may ask us about it. You agree that we may tell the store whether the purchase was delivered, how much of its credits you spent, and which outcome we prefer: a full refund when nothing was used, a refund of the unused part of a partly used credit pack, or no refund when the credits paid for generations. The store makes the decision.

5. Uploaded media and likeness

Upload only content you own or have permission to use. By uploading a photo, recording, or other likeness of a person, you confirm that you are that person or have the permission needed to use their likeness for the requested generation.

  • You may not cast a person under 18 unless you are their parent or legal guardian and have authority to consent.
  • Do not impersonate people, imply endorsements without permission, or present generated footage of real people as authentic.
  • Use of a public figure’s likeness must comply with applicable law and these Terms, including the restrictions on deceptive content.
  • If your likeness appears in content without permission, contact support@directorvideo.ai to request review and removal.

6. Your content and ownership

You retain your rights in your uploads. You grant us the permission needed to store, process, transmit, and display your content to operate the service, perform generations you request, and deliver results, including through our service providers.

As between you and us, we claim no ownership in your generated output and assign to you any rights we may hold in it, to the extent permitted by law. This does not override third-party rights or model-provider conditions. AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection, and we cannot guarantee that an output is protectable or non-infringing.

You are responsible for your content and its use, including any permissions required for commercial use or publication.

7. Acceptable use and safety

You may not use Director AI to create illegal content, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive deepfakes, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not harass others, commit fraud, or bypass safety controls, access restrictions, rate limits, or billing systems.

Requests may be blocked by our systems or our model providers. We may investigate abuse, restrict access, remove content, suspend accounts, and report illegal activity where required by law.

8. Service changes and termination

We may add, change, or discontinue features and models. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risks, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service and request account deletion through support. Download content you wish to retain before closing your account.

If we discontinue the service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice. Any rights regarding unused paid entitlements remain subject to applicable law and the purchase terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Director AI is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We depend on third-party infrastructure and AI services and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer law gives you other rights or requires a different forum. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will change the date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, subject to applicable law.
